Tuesday Essentials

Happy Tuesday dolls! I’m sharing today’s essentials on my IG post: @beautybyryulala.

I just started a new, strict diet M-F so I’m feeling like I need a good cup of caffeine every day. I’ve been keeping my makeup light and natural, which is what I normally do throughout the work week, unless I’m out meeting with clients. I always have my under eye powder to touch up and highlight the areas on my face. I always have at least a lip color to apply and also can’t be without my fave Jo Malone cologne. I love the small sample sizes because they’re so easy to have with me in my purse.

Have a great Tuesday beauties!

Happy hump-day!

Happy hump-day beauties!

As always, I went with a natural and neutral makeup for today’s look. I love my Urban Decay NAKED Basics palette and love taking it with me when I’m on the go because of the convenient size! I guess I stuck with using all travel size friendly products today. lol Here’s what I used: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer as always, on top of my SPF and my Maybelline Fit Me concealer to brighten up my under eyes, LORAC eye primer (I took a break from my MAC paint pot), filled in my brows with the ABH brow powder duo, and the Marc Jacobs mascara. Surprisingly, I have been enjoying the Marc Jacobs mascara. I don’t like to change my mascaras too much because I am very particular with mascaras in general. I’m obsessed with finding the type that does not clump or weigh down my lashes. I have a few favorites that I always use, but I have been using the Marc Jacobs one when I’m on the go and I have to say, it’s pretty good. Lightweight, even after two coats and not clumpy at all. I like the way it applies even in the small size. I’ll have to finish this bottle and see if I decide on purchasing the full size!

Have a great rest of your hump-day dolls!

Ciao,

Yuri

Light and simple #motd

Hi beauties, hope you all had a productive Monday today!

I’m sharing my simple and light makeup look today on my Instagram: @beautybyryulala

I used my oldie but goodie and my favorite CC cushion compacts by Amore Pacific, filled in my brows, applied mascara, and added a pop of bright lip color using a moisturizing lip tinted crayon.

Had a really busy day and glad the first day of the week is over. Cheers to a great week!

Sunday night mask treatment

Hello beauties! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I wanted to share a great mask treatment I’ve been using and have been absolutely loving! The Glamglow Youthmud mask treatment is a great mask I like to use when I feel like I need to detox. Glamglow has amazing masks and I have yet to try all of them, but I am a big lover of clay masks. As an Esthetician, I learned so much about different skincare treatments and especially loved the different types of treatments that came in mask forms. I love the fact that there are so many great natural ingredients that benefit the skin. I love clay masks because they target drawing out impurities from your skin so I usually like to call it my detox treatment.

This particular Glamglow mask treatment has three main ingredients: 1.volcanic pumice rock which acts as the exfoliant, 2. french sea clay which helps absorbs impurities, 3. teaoxi green tea leaf which has antioxidants that help boost the skin with a great glow. I like to apply this lightly over my face with my face brush that I use just for skincare masks and then wash off after about 15 minutes. My face feels amazingly soft afterwards, which is a fabulous feeling! Talk about giving yourself a facial at home! This has become one of my favorite masks for sure. I would highly recommend this product if you haven’t tried it yet, but please be cautious if you have very sensitive skin.

Blusher of the day

Happy weekend beauties!

I have been obsessed with a new blusher I finally opened up to try out. I think I have the most difficulty opening up and trying different products before finishing up the first product. I have been using my Benefit blushers in Dandelion, Coralista and also my Nars blusher in Orgasm forever. I’ve finally hit pan in all of these and then finally opened up my Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blusher even though I’ve had this sitting in my makeup organizer forever.

This blusher has definitely become one of my faves. The product comes with two shades, an outer and inner shade in the compact. The application is super easy and blends perfectly to give the best cheek color that’s natural and glowy. I will definitely be picking up the rest of the cheek to chic blushers!

Happy hump day beauties!

Having a full day of meetings and going to a dinner right after so I went with a medium coverage makeup look to keep my skin still lightweight, using MAC Face and Body foundation.
